Already no one denies that the planet has a global warming. According to forecasts of scientists, in the coming years the level of the world ocean will rise by 1.5 meters. But this is the forecast for the coming years. And what happens if the process of melting glaciers goes avalanche? The development of such a situation can happen, of course, not in the next few years, but during the next centuries, when our great-great-great-grandchildren will live.
According to the director of the Institute of Computer Science RAS, Academician Valentin Dymnikov, the time course of concentration of greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide), volcanic and anthropogenic aerosols, solar radiation observed before the development of the climate of the XIX-XX centuries as well as the forecast of changes in the concentration of radiation-active gases according to the scenario of moderate development. At the same time, it was taken into account that the content of carbon dioxide by the year 2100 should grow by about half in comparison with 2000, and during the XXII century its concentration, like other gases, will not change.
